Suddenly 1954! Modernism Week Fall Kick-Off Party

Our next fashion show will be held at the "Suddenly 1954" Modernism Week Fall Party! Stay tuned for photos from the fashion show + event as it will be posted on this blog soon afterward. For more information about the show + tickets read below!

Design 849 invites you to return to the glamorous, carefree world of 1954 where you can dance to the popular music of the day, imbibe in retro cocktails, and view fabulous vintage 1950's cars on display. Lounge under the stars in our beautiful courtyard as you sip your Gin Rickey, and watch models parade in 50′s fashions.

In celebration of Modernism Week’s Fall Season Kick-Off, we pay tribute to our Design 849 building attributed to Architect William Cody. Built in 1954 as Palm Springs’ original post office, this stunning modern building continues to inspire design enthusiasts, visitors, and residents today!

Guests are encouraged to dress in the period – This will truly
be a night to remember!

Modernism Week: Cocktail Hour with Dwell Magazine & Paul Kaplan Group

With all of the Modernism Week festivities Deja Vu has been occupied with fashion shows, dinner parties, and informal modeling shows. This has been the busiest week of the year and we loved every party and every mod second of it! This is what we live for here at Deja Vu Vintage Finery.
Here is a recap of photos from the Dwell Magazine & Paul Kaplan Group party held at The Fontenell in Palm Springs. This was such a great time showing our fashions at the Fontenell property. To view a slideshow from this event click here. More pictures to come soon from our Fashion Forward: A Vintage Retrospective fashion show, that was held at The Hilton Hotel last Sunday February 17th. Enjoy these photos of all the fun, fashion & party people we met at The Fontenell.
