What happens when a Photographer meets Barbie in Palm Springs? It all comes together to support a wonderful cause, THE CENTER of Palm Springs. Steven Henke started the idea "Barbie Does Palm Springs" from just a fun day out in Palm Springs and brought along his favorite, Malibu Barbie.
The beginning photos of Barbie in Palm Springs were all taken on his blackberry as a fun/new hobby to do. The images turned out so well, they inspired Steven to make his idea into something more. It all started as, what would it look like if Barbie was a tourist in Palm Springs- or during a photo shoot? The following are photos showing us "Barbie Does Palm Springs."

We had the opportunity to showcase our fine vintage clothing at the Savage Gallery as displays for Steven Henke's photography. As Barbie is a very 60's girl we had these wonderful vintage pieces to compliment Barbie's always forward fashion. The photos below is from opening night reception at the Savage Gallery with our Deja Vu Vintage Finery fashion displays.
